If I take both PBT and CBT in May, am I eligible to take both CBT and PBT again in September ?
Hello!
The MAT exam is held 4 times a year. There are no restrictions on the number of times one can write the exam. A candidate can write it all four times if you so wish.
The exam can be written either as a Computer Based Test (CBT) or as a Paper Based Test (PBT) .
Candidate can opt for both the tests i.e. PBT and CBT by paying an extra fees of 1100/- in addition to 1550/- per test. Candidates opting for both PBT and CBT will have the benefit of selecting additional 2 Management Institutions for sending their scores in addition to existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutions i.e. they can select 7 Management Institutions in total.
Hope this helps!
MAT is generally conducted four times in a year in February, May, September and December. The minimum qualification for appearing in MAT is graduation in any discipline from any recognized University or equivalent recognized degree. A final year student in any undergraduate (i.e. B.A, B.Sc., B.Com., B.Tech., etc) can also appear provisionally. Usually, there is a minimum percentage requirement in graduation, which is different for different MIs/University. For this refer to the prospectus of the particular MIs/University.
There is no restriction on the number of attempts. You are allowed to appear for all the four rounds in a year. You can appear for both CBT and PBT by paying additional amount of 1100 INR in addition to 1550 INR.
