Salary- The salary after completing this course is quiet good if you graduate from a good,reputed college as they conduct campus placements and international firms like Schlumberger and johnson matthey participate in the placememnt process.Graduates from IIt may get salaries upto 20 lakhs p.a. Chemical engineering is not as popular in India as other courses are like(mechanical,civil,extc,computers,electronics) etc.,so the competition is less you can aim to get to the top college and grab a good job opportunity.
