Robotics engineering is a field that deals with designing, structuring, building and application of robots and the use of computers for their processing and manipulation. By considering all these aspects there are multiple career options available in the field of robotics.

After completing your 4-year B.E./B.Tech degree in Robotics engineering you will have an ample of opportunities in India as well as in foreign countries. From manufacturing line robots to experimental robots for the military, medical and automotive industries, the future of robotics engineering certainly offers a variety of opportunities for professionals entering this field. A candidate having an M.E. degree in robotics can find employment opportunities in space research, organizations such as ISRO and also in industries which manufacture microchips.

Further scope of Robotics jobs:

  • Space Research: Organizations like ISRo and NASA which are regularly using artificial intelligence technologies
  • Entertainment: Games like X-Box, PCs and PlayStations are putting this extensively to use
  • Investigation: RObotics are used to detect bombs and explosive and even defuse them
  • Banking: AI is heavily used in organizing operations and managing properties and in investing in stocks
  • Medicine: With the help of AI a huge research is going on in this field

Feel free to ask if you have any more queries. All the best!!

For going in Artificial Intelligence you need to have a good knowledge of programming and robotics. So, a good option is like doing B.Tech in computer science stream and then doing M.Tech in Robotics Engineering.

For excelling in AI you can also do engineering in ECE, actually, this field is not specific to one engineering field but consists of many engineers from different field handling different jobs but along with the B.Tech it's essential to do M.Tech in Robotics Engineering.
