If you are alloted a EWS reserved seat in JAC then your seat may get cancelled. But if you are alloted a UR seat then if you fail to produce the EWS certificate, then you will be accounted as a general candidate. Apart from this you may not be eligible to sit for the counselling in further rounds the reason behind it is that you have alloted a seat of your preference, now if its in your upper preference then you may not be able to seat for the round 2.

You need to mention the type of JAC Counselling you are attending. Every JAC has its own set of rules. However, if considered JAC Chandigarh then rule states

Candidates who do not upload the documents for Document Verification (because of any reason) or are found ineligible for reserved category, will not be considered for counselling in the specified reserved categories.

Therefore, it might be possible that you will allotted seat based on your Common Rank under OPEN seat.
