Hello,

First of all you have to decide your stream, and pursue graduation and post graduation from a recognized university, if you choose science subjects then you need to complete master's degree with 55% and appear for CSIR NET, this is basically for science students which includes subjects such as life science, earth science, physical science, chemical science, mathematical science , you can also go for JRF to pursue higher studies or lectureship, in case of any other stream there is UGC NET which also has the same eligibility criteria of passed post-graduation in any relevant discipline from a recognized university with 55%, there is relaxation of 5% for reserved category. There are also exams conducted at state level for the post of assistant professor which have the same eligibility criteria as above.
