If i want to join in Indian Airforce what i should do?

Following would be the steps you need to follow one by one to be able to join the Indian Army -
- You can be part of the Indian Air Force family by applying for NDA( National Defence Academy).
- You can join NDA by taking the exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC). This exam is conducted twice a year in all major cities throughout India.
The eligibility criteria of UPSC is as follows -
- Age - 16 ½ to 19 years(at the time of commencement of course)
- Nationality – Indian
- Gender - Men only
- Educational Qualifications - 10+2 with Physics and Mathematics. Appearing final year students can also eligible to apply.
NDA is the only option after passing 12th to join the Indian Ari Force, however, if you do your graduation or Engineering, many other ways are available to join the Indian Ari Force.
CDSE Entry: - If in case you were wise and didn’t opt for engineering and instead got into B.Sc. course, or any other corresponding course, you can give CDS Exam, again conducted by UPSC twice a year. Engineering graduates can also apply.
AFCAT – Air Force Common Admission Test -
The eligibility is - graduation (min 3 years) in any discipline with min 60% marks and must have passed Maths and Physics as a subject at 10+2 level B.E/ B.Tech from a recognized University with min 60% marks.
The test is conducted twice a year in February and August.

You can give NDA (National Defence Academy) Entrance Exam which takes place twice in a year.
Every year it is conducted in April and September.
Candidates are recruited on the basis of written tests, interviews, etc.
The application form for NDA 2019 in April will begin on 9th January 2019 and will end on 4th February 2019. Exam would be conducted on 21st April 2019. Results for the same would be announced in May 2019.

NDA Entry:- UPSC Conducts NDA Exam for 12th Pass and Appearing Students,twice a year.
Candidates, short-listed for Indian Air Force after the initial selection procedure, go through a rigorous three-year training regimen at the National Defence Academy at Khadakwasla, followed by specialised training at one of the
training establishment. Thereafter, they are Commissioned as Permanent Commission Officers and posted as pilots at any of the Air Force Stations.
CDSE Entry:
- If in case you didn’t opt for engineering and instead got into B.Sc. course, or other corresponding course, you can give CDS Exam, again conducted by UPSC twice a year. And then join IAF
AFCAT – Air Force Common Admission Test.
For all entries other than CDSE and for all branches, candidates have to undergo the AFCAT. The test is conducted twice a year in February and August.The test is conducted all across India by the Indian Air Force
