Most of the students choose MBA in marketing, finance, operations management, human resources, product management etc. If you have not figured out yet which MBA specialization to choose, don't worry. The MBA is a two year program and there they won't teach you your specialized subject right from the beginning. In the first year, you will be taught various subjects and not just marketing or finance or human resources. By the end of the first year, you will gain an insight into all of these subjects and will know which one interests you and which doesn't. Then you can choose the specialized subject you want to study. Now, suppose two specializations, say both marketing and finance fascinates you. In that case, you can choose for dual MBA, that is a degree on both of these MBA programs.
It is recommended to have some years of experience in your workplace before you choose to study MBA. Two or three years of work experience after graduation will be helpful for you before you join a B-school.
