see generally based on 12th syllabus the higher secondary exam certificate given in most of the board of education in India. so there no importance for 11th marks or results. thus if you have the required marks in 12th course from science steam you are eligible to write kcet or jee main or any other entrance exam. the eligibility criteria for jee main is, candidates must have completed 12th in science with physic chemistry and mathematics as a subject , however appearing 12th student or already passed 12th candidates are eligible to write jee main exam. candidates are eligible to write jee main exam in three consecutive years, if 12th course completed on 2020, then candidates are eligible to appear in jee main exam in 2020, 2021, 2022. however there is no specific qualifying marks needed for jee main, but for nits or iits btech admission you must secure 75% aggregate marks (general and obc) in 12th, 65% marks for sc/st.

eligibility criteria for kcet exam is as follows,

candidate Should have successfully passed the qualifying examination(10+2 or equivalent) with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and any one of the following as the additional subject Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Electronics/Computer. Should have also studied English.

applicant Should have secured at least 45% aggregate marks in the three subjects in 12th standard examination. For B.Arch candidate need to have 50% marks in aggregate along with 50% marks in Physics and Chemistry.

candidates belongs to SC/ST/OBC need to score atleast 40% aggregate marks for B.Tech and 45% for B.Arch.
