As you want to know the average package would be offer for the a psychologist  can expect to earn between 1,80,000 to 2,40,000 INR per month as a starting salary. You can earn more than 4,80,000 to 5,40,000 INR per month by expanding your knowledge through experience and education, such as completing an MPhil or a PhD. If you have a private counselling practice, you can offer a sliding scale to clients and generate additional income by conducting workshops and training.

Dear Aspirant ,

With a Masters in Mental Health , your average base salary would be near Rs 357000 per annum . Entry level salaries are less as compared to 2 to 3 years of experience. An entry level salary per year would be near Rs 2 Lakh . With experience and extra skills the payscale increases.

Although the case is different in abroad . You would have a far better payscale being a Mental health Counseller ( if that is what you are wanting to become after this degree)

Hope this helps!

Thank you.
