If iim ahmedabad cut off is 80 percentile , then why they do not call for interview if we score 82 percentile?
As it is one of the eligibility criteria and not the only eligibility criteria. You need to fulfill all the criterias to secure a call for the next round.
There could be many reasons for this but to get onto those let us first understand the selection criteria of IIM's.
- Academic profile and how you are rated.
- CAT percentiles
Hi
When IIM-A announces its cutoff as 80%(percentile), it means that the minimum required marks are that much.
After that also, a lot of things come into consideration. Like sectional cutoffs, academics, work experience and extracurriculars.
After considering all that, a few top applicants are called for the GD-PI process.
I hope that makes things clear.
Regards,
Hello,
See we don't know what actually they are actually looking... though this time they had the cutoff of 81 percentile. To be specific no one know what could be the reason but under such circumstance, you can mail the Issue to them... who knows they might consider...
