The first step to getting admitted to an IIM is writing the CAT. They do not accept scores of any other national level exams.



Management Aptitude Test (MAT) is a standardised test being administered since 1988 to facilitate Business Schools (B-Schools) to screen candidates for admission to MBA and allied programmes. Govt. of India, Ministry of HRD approved MAT as a national level test in 2003.



Some good colleges accepting MAT score are TA Pai Management Institute, Manipal, Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Xavier Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship, Bangalore, National Institute of Technology, Warangal, Christ College, Alliance Business Academy, New Delhi Institute of Management etc

No ...only after giving CAT exam u can get iim and there will be condition that is you will have to score 99.9%....but by mat exam u can get other best collages of mba....take care
