If you have choosen the float option in the first round it will continue to remain float in firthir rounds irrespective of the fact you were upgraded in furthur rounds or not. This is in context with most of counsellings like JOSAA and JAC Delhi etc.

For float u don't have to do anything, if u get a seat then u have to report to a nearest Nit or iit college as per conditions.
