Dear Aspirant,
Whether you want to wait for the second round or not, you still have to go for document verification in the first round. At the centre, either you can freeze your seat if you want it or you can ask to float if you want to change your college as well as your branch or slide option if you want just want to change your branch keeping the college same.
Now, your choice remains the same until the last round. If you want to change your choice from float to slide or vice verse or if you want to freeze your choice either from float or slide, you again have to go to the centre to change. Your choice automatically gets locked in the final round.
I hope it's clear to you now.
Good luck!
If you have been allotted a seat in any IIT,NIIT or GFTI in the first round of JOSSA counseling then you have to go for document verification to any nearest IIT,NIIT or GFTI then only you can wait for second round counseling.
Hello there. If you don't want to accept the seat then you need not to go for document verification. You can sit back and wait for next round. But if you want to take the seat for safer side, then you have to report to the center for document verification.
