Yes, it does affect. A basic understanding of trigonometry, alzebra, statistics is required for solving physics mainly as well as chemistry. One thing you will note that good students generally have a good grip over this two subjects because of maths background. Although it’s not mandatory, but it provides a certain level of confidence to tackle difficult questions in NEET and conceptual ones in AIIMS.
In my batch of 100 in med college AIIMS BBSR, 30% have a mathematics background too.

Hey there sanskar, the criteria for NEET is that you should have an aggregate of 50 percentage in physics chemistry and biology combined if you are in general category and if you have reservation then its 40 percentage, so maths doesnt really have a big impact, but you must pass all subjects individually, good luck
