As per previous years' trend, 19000 rank is equivalent to 98 percentile score. You have plenty of chances to get into NITs with this rank. However percentile varies with difficulty level of question paper and the performance of students. The topper of a particular shift of exam is considered to score 100 percentile.
Hope you get a clear idea of percentile. All the best.
Hello student.
A rank of 19000 is a bit low one to get into top NITs and IITS. But at the same time Indian Institutes of Technology and National Institutes of Technology are institutions which have higher competition. every year there will be many number of students applying for this college.
Here is how you can calculate rank:
JEE Main 2020 rank (probable) = (100- NTA percentile score ) X6,35,000 /100
where 6,35,000 are the number of people attended jee mains exam in the month of September.
So according to this, your percentile is around 97.
This is difficult to get through to IITs and NITs. I suggest you to apply for other colleges.

Hi Shubhi,
If your CRL rank in 19000 in JEE Main Exam then, your marks will be 124(approx.). And at 124 marks, your percentile would be around 97.74 - 97.94 percentile.
At this much rank you will surely get an NIT irrespetive of branch preferences. If you are looking for CSE than the chances are less in NITs.
