If my rank on IIT jam geology is 200+. Then there is a chance to get IIT or not?

With a rank that is 200+ , it is very tough to get admission in IIT for geology, if you are a general category candidate.
In case, you are from some minority category, then you may have some chances of getting admission into the Indian Institute of Technology.
