Dear Surya, at this point in time, the Health Ministry has only 'proposed' scrapping NEET PG. If the Health Ministry 'can have its way', then NEET PG will be scrapped. It is in the revised NMC Bill. This will be sent to the Cabinet for approval. So at this point in time, nothing has been finalised as yet. And regarding your question, AIIMS, NEER superspeciality and other entrance examimations will remain. For those candidates who have already completed their MBBS and have been preparing for NEET PG, the NMC will come up with an alternative. So we need to wait and watch as how things might unfold.
