if Net force on a system is zero then velocity of centre of mass of the system remains constant and hence kinetic energy of the system remains constant .is the Statement true or false? please explain

Hi,
F(external) =Ma(CM)

Now , if net external force is zero then a(CM)=0i.evf=vi.

Hence the centre of mass will move in the direction of initial state.

Also, dtdP=Fexternal=0

Thus linear momentum(P)is conserved.

Hence statement 1 is false and statement 2 is true
