The basic eligibility criteria of NDA is mentioned below.

• Candidates should be between the age group of 16.5 and 19.5 years to apply

• Minimum education qualification required for NDA is 10+2 (Army), 10+2 with Physics and Maths (Air Force & Navy)

As we know that in a single year there are 2 chances to give NDA. So when you will be in 12th your age will be more than 17 years. And after that you will get 1 chance after your board exams , and after that continuous 3 chances are more till you become 19.5 years of age.

So around 4 attempts are left for you. 3 attempts are fixed while 1 may be more or less due to age factor.

As per the eligibility criteria of NDA, the candidate's age must be between 16 to 19 years old to be eligible for NDA. Now you are 15 years old and studying in 10th standard. Once you complete your 12th, you can appear for NDA examination. Also final year candidates are eligible to apply for NDA. So you should start your preparation once you complete your 10th board examination as when you'll complete 12th standard your age will be 18 years. And if you start your preparation that time, you'll not get enough time to be prepared for the examination. So you should start your preparation once you complete your 10th board exams. After completion 12th, you can appear for NDA.
