Dear Mukherjee, joining an allotted college or not is your decision and you are well within your right to choose. You will not be held against any legal action or whatsoever. You canot be forced to join a particular college just because you have been allotted one. Having said that, if you do not join a College in Round 2, you will have to forfeit your Security deposit. And you may not be deemed qualified to appear for further rounds of Counselling.
