If one has zoology , chemistry and botany in b.sc. degree. Then he do his MSc in chemistry. Does he is eligible for Gate exam after that?

GATE - Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination which is conducted for Master of Engineering (ME), Masters in Technology (MTech) and direct PhD admissions to Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IIITs) and other institutes/universities across India
- As per new eligibility criteria if you are in the third year of your undergraduation then you are eligible to appear for GATE 2021.
- This provides an additional opportunity to you to improve their performance in GATE.
- Also, 2 new subjects have been introduced this year. From this year you can sit for 2 papers from the given set of combinations.
- However, some of the branches may not get the second paper option.
- Two new subjects – Environmental Science and Engineering (ES) and Humanities and Social Science (XH). The total number of subjects in GATE 2022 has increased to 27.
All test papers of GATE 2022 will be entirely objective type. Pattern of questions may include
(i) Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ),
(ii) Multiple Select Questions (MSQ)
(iii) Numerical Answer Type (NAT) questions.
Anyone who has successfully completed 10+2+2 or 10+3+1 and currently studying in 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR has already graduated in any government approved degree program in Engineering / Technology,Architecture, Science, Commerce ,Arts is eligible to apply .
