If partial Epilepsy can be considered in chronic neurological disability in PWD reservation ? He is On medication since 6 years. Epilepsy is not completely stopped till date .

The PWD Act, 2016 was legislated to provide persons with disabilities various equal rights.
The Act has the following specified disabilities:-
Physical Disability
Locomotor Disability
Leprosy Cured Person
Cerebral Palsy
Dwarfism
Muscular Dystrophy
Acid Attack Victims
Visual Impairment
Blindness
Low Vission
Hearing Impairment
Deaf
Hard of Hearing
Speech and Language Disability
Intellectual Disability
Specific Learning Disabilities
Autism Spectrum Disorder
Mental Behaviour (Mental Illness)
Disability caused due to Chronic Neurological Conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease
Blood Disorder-Haemophilia, Thalassemia, Sickle Cell Disease
Multiple Disabilities
Chronic Neurological Conditions
For example -
Alzheimer’s disease and Dementia
Parkinson’s disease
Dystonia
ALS (Lou Gehrig’s disease)
Huntington’s disease
Neuromuscular disease
Multiple sclerosis
Epilepsy
Stroke
So, epilepsy does come under this act after the 2016 amendment. There is a 5% reservation in seats in Government and Government benefited academic institutions for persons with benchmark disabilities. There is a 4% reservation in Government jobs for specific individuals or classes of individuals with benchmark disabilities.
