Sagar, unfortunately, the answer is No. If the first attempt is in 2018, then that is considered while 2021 will not be considered. Even if it is NIOS, 2021 is always an improvement and even if you change boards or whatsoever, 2018 will be the first attempt. And to qualify for JEE Mains 2021, Candidates who have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam in 2019, 2020 or those who will appear in 2021 are eligible. And the other criteria is that to qualify for JEE Mains, there is no minimum aggregate criteria. But if you want to join NITs, IIITs or CFTIs then you should score a minimum aggregate of 75% only in your 12th. 11th marks aren't considered. And then to appear for JEE Advanced which is the gateway for admission to IITs, you will need to fulfill the 75% aggregate condition. Now it is 75% for General Category and 65% for Reserved Categories. So how much you score in 12th is what matters to secure your eligibility for NITs, IIITs, CFTIs and JEE Advanced.
In jee mains the maximum number of attempts allowed are three. You first attempt is counted as over in the year that you have passed your class 12th. After that you can maximum find into two attempts in next consecutive years.
If you have passed your class 12th in the year 2018 then your first attempt is counted as over in 2018
You had only chance to give jee mains upto 2020.
Even if you have give nios exam in 2021, then also you cannot give jee mains 2021. Because in jee mains you have to enter the year of your class 12th passing year, that means the year in which you have passed your class 12th for first time.
So, as you are a pass out of 2018, then you can not give or appear in 2021.
