Admission committee will prepare two merit lists for Gujarat Engineering Admission 2016 -

1. For the candidates who have passed Qualifying Examination from Boards for which percentile marks are available: The merit list is prepared with sixty (60) percentage weightage to percentile marks obtained in theory subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) of qualifying exam combined with forty (40) percentage weightage to percentile marks obtained in JEE Main 2016 .

2. For the candidates who have passed Qualifying Examination from Boards for which percentile marks are NOT available: The merit list is prepared with sixty (60) percentage weightage to marks obtained in theory subjects (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) after converting it to 100 combined with forty (40) percentage weightage to percentile marks obtained in JEE Main 2016.

Gujarat Engineering Admission Merit List 2016 – Important Points:

• Gujarat Engineering Admission 2016 Merit List  is the only basis for admission of candidates to engineering courses available in technical institutions of the state.

• Gujarat Engineering Admission Merit List 2016 consists of JEE Main 2016 Roll Number, Merit Number, Name, Board, PCM Board Mark, Board Percentile, PCM JEE Mark, JEE Percentile and Merit Marks.

• Admission, Counselling and Seat Allotment process is conducted on the basis of Gujarat Engineering Admission Merit List 2016.
