Solution :
The curved surface area of a cylinder of radius $r$ and height $h$ = $2\pi rh$.
Height of the cylinder = 10 cm (given)
∴ $2\pi rh = 440$
⇒ $2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r \times 10 = 440$
⇒ $r = 7$ cm
Hence, the correct answer is 7.
