Correct Answer: 28
Solution : Total = 5 + 4 = 9 Quantity of fruit costing INR 20 in the mixture $=\frac{5}{9}$ Quantity of fruit costing INR 38 in the mixture $=\frac{4}{9}$ So, Cost of the mixture $=\frac{5}{9}\times20+\frac{4}{9}\times 38=\frac{100}{9}+\frac{152}{9}=\frac{252}{9}=28$ Hence, the correct answer is INR 28.
