If we apply for same MBBS College seat under open category in AIQ as well as State quota councelling what happens when we are allocated seat under either one quota. do we come out of councelling automatically from other quota?
Hello there ,
Hope you are doing well. See, if you want a seat in your own native state ,you should definitely apply for it through the state quota counselling of your state as you'll be having a much higher probability of getting the seat .
Only if you want a medical seat in some other state or central universities or deemed Universities ,then only you should apply through All India Quota Counselling.
And yes, if you get a seat in a particular college in your state through AIQ and you take it , you can't apply for another seat of the same college obviously.
From your profile I can see that you are from Maharashtra and Maharashtra has started the registration for their state quota counselling post NEET-2021 but for now they will only complete the registration process and publish the state merit or rank list . College alotment will only be done after AIQ counselling commences .
You can have details of the colleges you can get into based on your NEET AIR and category both through AIQ and SQ of your state from the link given below :

Hope my answer helped.
Dear aspirant,
As far as your query is concerned let me tell you that if you are applying in the college where your home state is then you would definitely be alloted a seat through your home state quota but if you have applied outside your state then you would get through aiq .
