Nothing will happen they will consider u immediately as general candidate and  u are ranking falls under general category

In the worst case scenario they will not consider you in OBC category and you will be automatically transferred to GENERAL category!

If you are unable to provide your OBC certificate during the verification process - your seat will be cancelled. At the time of counselling if you  choose General Category, there will not be any problem.



If you have done it mistakenly then opt for General at the time of counselling. But if you have applied for OBC certificate, get it done as soon as possible to show it during verification process.

Very few colleges have OBC seats e.g. states like Delhi through central quota, however, you have seats through State Councellings which take in through OBC quota seats.

For that you need an OBC Certificate.

The one and only problem is that you will not be allowed to apply for OBC seats without the certificate. so get it done as soon as possible. All the Best.
