No its not necessary that you will get a college .

Because it might be possible that you might have chosen all the colleges whose closing cutoffs is less than that of your rank so you will definitely not get admission into any college .



So select the college wisely during councelling check the cutoffs of all the colleges before applying for councelling process.

If you attend the counseling, you can't be sure of getting a college unless you have a rank that is good enough to get you admitted to that college of which you are going to attend the counseling.

However you will get to know about the closing rank of all the branches of that institute, and if you are eligible you can get the branch which your rank lies in.

As per your question, let me tell you that all those students who have passed out their neet exam are called up to attend the counselling for different colleges.

But it is not definite that one should get a college surely after attending the counselling. Because your admission in any particular medical college is done based on the cutoff required for any particular college.

In short, your seat in anu college can only be secured if you have your marks according to the cuttoff required.
