If a student didn't get his/her seat in CSAB round then the registration fees will be refunded by the following rules:
- Candidates who chose to withdraw allotted seat in JoSAA counselling and do not want to participate in the special round are entitled for the refund of seat allotment fee with a deduction of Rs. 1, 200.
- Candidates who are not allotted a seat in the special round, he/ she shall be entitled to a refund of participation fee with a deduction of Rs. 2,000.
- Candidates who are not allocated a seat in CSAB Round 1 and wants to withdraw from Round 2 counselling are entitled to a refund of participation fee with a deduction of Rs. 2,000
- Candidates who have been allocated a seat in Special Round 1 and failed to report to the institute within the specified deadline, he/she shall be entitled to the refund of seat acceptance fee with a deduction of Rs. 6,000.
- Candidates who opt for Surrender of Seat and Participate in Round 2 and are not allocated a seat in Round 2 must note that he/ she shall be entitled to a refund of Seat Acceptance/ Participation Fee with a deduction of Rs. 6,000
- If a candidate who has been allotted a seat in Special Round-I and his/her seat gets cancelled due to ineligibility OR in-appropriate documents noticed during document verification, his/her Participation Fee and Seat Acceptance Fee (if paid) will be refunded after deducting Rs 6,000.
