Yes , of course you can appear for jee mains second session i.e. April session even if you fail to clear the cut off of jee mains January session , but you should be positive right now and give your 100% and try to clear jee mains with flying colours in the January session itself. Actually one has a total of 6 attempts for jee mains.NTA has clarified that students can appear in JEE Main twice a year in three consecutive years from the year of passing their class 12 exam. This makes JEE Main number of attempts to six in a span of three years.
