Hello Vijay,

MBBS is a stream where we need to focus and put in a lot of efforts for the betterment of the society. First of all seat in AIIMS is definitely like a dream for every medical aspirant and if you get through it then you definitely have the potential and dedication towards your work.

Yes the burden of being in AIIMS, huge syllabus and so many patients will always be there, and to be honest it will always be a little bit extra than any other government medical College. But several extracurricular activities like AIIMS annual fest (PULSE), quizzes etc. Also there is provision of other activities like swimming, basketball, gym etc within the campus itself where you can join to distract yourself from your daily routine.

In other words there is no need to get depressed due to pressure and tension for to studies. They are part of everyone's life and everybody slowly gets over it. It's just that you should never forget your ultimate goal of becoming a doctor and serving other people.

If after all the activities also after entrance if you feel depressed due to the workload, you can always go to a councillor or talk to family members for help.

Hope the little piece of information was helpful.

Good luck!
