If we take admission into an IIT for example in Mechanical Engineering then in the future can we change our course to Computer Science?

If now you taking admission in to mechanical engineering branch then in four year b tech course you can't change . But you can change stream from mechanical to computer science for m tech , he needs a valid gate score in computer science .
