Hello There ,
In chemical engineering , first of all , chemical engineering is equivalent to process engineering , you get to study , the different steps involved in different process and application in large scale . Some of the subjects which you get to learn include , mass balance , instrumentation , chemical process calculations , advanced statistics , data analytics (to some extent) , introductory , spark , hadoop etc for process management etc .
So it depends whether you like these topics and have interest to learn them , and there are many other fields also within the branch in which you can also continue your research if , you wish to go for MS/PhD
With Chemical engineering you can go for psu jobs , work as a process engineer , material science engineer , you can work in petrochemical sector , process management , data science jobs , core petroleum sector jobs etc
Hope it helps and All the best
