If we want to get admission in du in ba English hons.. So only English marks are seen or overall %?

Hi,
The best 4 percentage is calculated taking English as a compulsory subject .Then the cut offs are released and all the students who clear the cutoffs can take admission in the respective colleges. In some colleges like St.Stephens there is also an interview for admission process.
