Dear Applicant,

I hope you are doing well, about your question, you see the jain minority certificate will only be of help for community based colleges (i.e. Jain colleges). In such jain colleges 50% seats are reserved for the jain community. So if you have a jain minority certificate you will have to apply in a jain community college to get the utmost benefit of this certificate.

The jain community has the previlage of various state sponsored scholarship schemes for the students who's annual family income is  less than 2.5 lakhs. They are eligibe for various centrally funded schemes that have an annual family income of less than 4.5 lakhs. No other reservation  are found in any non community college.

I went through VNSGU colleges and they do offer a scholarship for minority students namely " minority scholarship " so you can try for this if you like.

hope this helps!!
