If (y-2, x+1) =(x-1,2) then the values of x and y are

Hi Suraksha,

Since (y-2 , x+1) = (x-1 , 2) are equal therefore they must be comparable

Which implies x+1 = 2 and y-2 = x-1

This shows x = 2-1 = 1

Putting x = 1 in y-2 = x-1

y-2 = 1-1

y-2 = 0

y = 2

Therefore x = 1, y = 2
