The admission process for IGNOU differs among students, in the sense a lot of students get their admission confirmed within few days or weeks, while for others they do have to wait for a longer period of time. Since, you said, the status shows "verifying documents", don't just jump to any conclusion about their acceptance or refusal, they will confirm you and clarify about your status, it may be taking time but then that's how the admission process for IGNOU works.
