If your rank is within 10 k then you have chances to get NITs and GFTIS .

You ca check previous year opening and closing rank of NITs/GFTIS here:https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/jee-main-cutoff-for-b-arch-b-planning

Mostly home state candidate along with category can get seats with low rank also.You can try for home state NITs and GFTIs.
