Admission into the undergraduate courses in Indian Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (IIEST) Shibpur are based on the merit of the candidates as per JEE Mains score.You will have to get a very good score in jee mains to get admission.
Also keep in mind that 50% of the seats are reserved for candidates outside West Bengal and 50% are reserved for students from West Bengal who have domicile.

Hello Aspirant,
The IIEST Shibpur institute is under the NIT council and it admits students based on JEE Main rankings. So, the exam needed to take admission in IIEST Shibpur is JEE Mains.
IIEST Shibpur intake students will be done based on JEE Main exam and also on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. To get admission, candidates have to qualify higher secondary Examination or its equivalent from a recognized board.
