Yes, there are various scholarships available for the students of IIIT Allahabad.

• SC/ST/PwD students are exempted from payment of Tuition Fee
• Scholarship will be awarded to the students belonging to minority who have secured more than 50% marks or equivalent grade in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/guardian should not exceed than 2 Lakhs.
• The students having more than 40% disability (Certified by
  competent medical authority of the state Governments/UTs.)
  are only eligible.

1. Transport Allowance @ Rs.160/- p.m.
2. Escort Allowance @ Rs.160/- p.m. for severally handicapped day scholar students with low extremity disability.
3. Reimbursement of compulsory non-refundable fees.
4. Book Allowance Rs. 1,200/-
5. Maintenance allowance p.m. Rs. 1,200/- for Hosteller and Rs. 500/- for Day Scholar.

• Students who get admission to a college to pursue technical/professional courses, on the basis of competitive examination will be eligible for Merit Cum Means Scholarship with maintenance allowance for 10 months @ Rs.10,000/- p.a. ( Rs.1000/-p.m.) for Hosteller and Rs.5,000/- p.a. (Rs.500/- p.m.) for Day Scholar
• Central Sector Scheme of Scholarships for College And University Students

Scholarship will be paid only to those students whose parent’s/guardian’s income from all sources does not exceed Rs.4.5 Lakh per annum.
