IIIT DHARWAD OR IIIT KOTTAYAM FOR CSE ?

The Indian Institute of Information and Technology (IIIT), Dharwad, was founded in 2015 as part of the Public-Private Partnership (PPP) between the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD), the Government of India, the Government of Karnataka and KEONICS. It's the "Institute of National Significance."

• Fee structure for CSE: INR 6.38 lakh ( Total fees)
• Highest salary package for CSE students is INR 15 lakhs
• Average salary package is of about INR 8-10 Lakhs
• Lowest salary package : INR 6 lakhs

Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Kottayam was established in 2015 under public-private partnership (PPP) mode with funding from the Central Government, State government and industry partners. The institute conferred upon the status of “Institute of National Importance” by the Government of India.

IIIT Dharwad have decent overall placement. Placement records are not that great but consistent, average placement record is 55%. highest package offered is 15Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 3Lakhs per annum and average package offered is 6-8Lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are Samsung, IBM, Wipro, etc. They have good infrastructure and well qualified , highly knowledgeable teaching faculties.

IIIT Kottayam have better overall ratings than IIIT Dharwad. They have good placement records, consistent record. average placement record is around 80%. Highest package offered is 11.5Lakhs per annum, lowest package offered is 2Lakhs per annum and average package offered is around 5lakhs per annum. Top recruiters are IBM, JIO, TCS, etc. They have good Infrastructure and highly qualified teaching faculties.

From many perspectives IIIT Kottayam is better.
