IIITG is a prestigious institute and one of its kind when you are interested in the academic field. The academic calendar is well planned to give you exposure to theoretical and practical knowledge. they follow a mixed curriculum of IIITH and IITG, mentor institute. The best thing about the syllabus is that you will study only the core subjects of the ECE stream. There are no unnecessary subjects such as Engineering Graphics, Mechanical Workshop etc included in the curriculum, taught by many IITs and NITs.
Talking about practical knowledge, they have well established labs with all kinds of equipment. they have a separate robotics cum research lab established in collaboration with IITB.
About events and extra curricular activities, college will fail you. they do not have many clubs; just the necessary ones.
Hello,
Both of these institutions are newly established under central government and known for national importance under the ppp model. The facalities of both the college are great and you can find good research option in both the colleges.
Branch is of personal choice. The placements are subject to matter of time as first batch at nagpur will pass in 2020. So you can't say about placements. But you can expect good placements in these colleges.
College Comparison based on Courses, Placement, Rank, Fee
Hi,
Among the two options, I would suggest you to go for IIIT Nagpur since it's CSE that you are getting. Both these colleges are comparatively new but agave prolific faculty and hence one can expect good placements too. As a branch, CSE obviously has more scope for the job market which is why most people prefer the stream. However, if Electronics interests you more, you can go for it since the institute is equally good.
Take a final call based on priorities like course, location, placements etc.
All the best!
