These are the ways through which you can get into IIIT Hyderabad.



Through JEE Mains



To get a seat in a course of your choice through JEE Mains, you have to ensure that you score 270+ in the JEE Mains. Admission for all branches except CLD,CHD take place through this mode.



Olympiad mode



This mode is for students who have been selected for training in Science and Linguistics to represent India in International Olympiads. Thus is also open to children who have been selected for IOITC. In this mode, children are selected through a Personal Interview. This mode offers admission in CSD, ECD, CND, BSD and CLD branches.



Lateral Entry



This mode of admission is for children who have completed their first two years of engineering in either Computer Science or Electronics branch from any other college. Children are admitted to CSD branch if they were in Computer Science branch in their college or to ECD if they were in the Electronics branch. To get a seat through this mode of admission, there is a test and an personal interview round.Note-Children are admitted to second year in IIIT-H through lateral entry mainly because what other colleges teach in 2 years, IIIT-H teaches in the first year itself.



As far as PCM goes, a score above 75% in all three should be enough.

Btech Admission for IIIT HYDERABAD takesplace through following three routes where students can choose any one mode of Entrance exam namely:-

• UGEE
• DASA
• JEE Mains

However, for 2018 admissions into Btech only UGEE shall be allowed for Admission .

For Dual degree course like Btech+ MS candidates need to appear for JEE Main and cutoffs have bene shared jn above-mentioned link itslef.
