iiit kancheepuram mechanical Vs metallurgy in NIT jamshedpur ? which is better for placements and career opportunity?
So firstly , I'll give you an answer that's my personal preference and you might differ from that. According to my opinion , you should definitely have NIT as your first preference if you are able to get a seat there. NITs are the best colleges in India after IITs and so you don't have to worry much about it's placements because it's great. Metallurgy on the other hand is an emerging topic and it's progressing day by day and it definitely has a lot of scope. IIITs are also good but if you have to select between a NIT and an IIIT I would definitely say you can opt for NIT. As for the last year , the placement was 90 % in NIT metallurgy, highest package being 39 lakhs per annum and average being 8lakhs per annum.
Hope this helps you. GOOD LUCK !!
Dear aspirant
IIIT kancheepuram is a good college as compared to other NITS and also all IIITS are having great placement record. So according to your question I will prefer you to go for IIIT. Try to search which IIIT is having metallurgy. Because this subject has a good scope in present as well as in future also. NIT is also a good college you can go for it but IIIT is far better than NIT.
All the best
