Since new IIIT's are being set up inside the campuses of existing NIT's, there is no proper infrastructure available for IIIt. The infra is developing and till then students of IIIT can use the canteen and all other facilities of NIT's. There is some shortage of good professors and there are no seprate labs for the IIIT students but the work is going on to improve the condition.

If you have no problem with all these factors, you can take admission in IIIT.

You can choose CS in these IIITs because the trend of IIIT has increased recent years and it will become more trendy in upcoming years also CSE branch gives you a big opportunity if you do well and it is running under good NITs so your opportunity become more but if it will not run under NITs in future your opportunity may decrease because it take some time to settle new IIITs.

IIIT ranchi is running under NIT JAMSHEDPUR so they are sitting in same companies which are coming for NIT students but now NIT JSR decided to not running IIIT so the students may find some difficulty for placement.
