BCA also called Bachelor of Computer Applications,as the name suggests it's a course purely based out of Information Technology, Computer programs and languages like JAVA,C++ etc .Thus,here it is more of a question whether you as a commerce student have a deep interest in Information Technology and it's subjects rather than the college.

If you have a good interest in Computer Application,you can definitely go for it,and if you have had computer subjects till class 12th,that will be an added advantage.

Taking of the college,it's more famous and known for engineering than BCA course.It provides 120 seats for BCA students.Well it's overall a good college interns of infrastructure with smart classrooms.Last year 80% of students got internship opportunities in good companies,so you can give it a thought for the college but as a commerce student ,the course might need more references from your family,peers,mentors etc.But you can be the best judge for yourself and abilities.
