Both the institutes are newly established so according to placement scenario both the institutes cant be differentiate.
But I personally feel that petroleum engineering is a rapidly growing feild and had high scope in future whereas pursuing normal btech from the core branches can also help to lead your future but still according to me you should go for petroleum engineering at IIPE vizag.
