The college is not one of the best college in Indore for Cs . It was a good college when it started in 2003 but eventually it lost its rank. It is learnt that at IIST in CS there are very good faculty from VIT University and IIT Indore . Although the college has turned around with quite a good number and quality of placements. But yes it has one of the best infrastructure in Indore. At present scenario SGSITS, Medicaps University, Acropolis, IPS , Vaishnav University, Shanghavi and Chameli Devi, IET - DAVV   are more preferred amongst students than IIST . But on the other side e-learning e-teaching and Google classrooms are available in IIST . Many multi national companies got tied this year so it has a good record of past placement which rates upto 90% . So if you have any other option for CS amongst the above listed colleges go for it else look around for IIST .

• Placement Wing

Interships is provided plus you get really good placements if you score above 8.5 cgpa overall. This college provides good placements and regular scholarships. Companies like Tata, TCS,Infosys, Wipro and even Indian army, navy and airforce come for placements.

• Hostel Facilities

Hostel fee is 70k per year and you cannot leave the hostel in between. 70k is for 3 bed room, 95k is for 2 bed room and 125k is for single room.
