It completely varies from student to student as it depends upon the way you have carried yourself throughout the 4 years and how well you have done in gaining knowledge. How better you are in applying your knowledge to real life problems and how well you are in taking responsibilities. All these things determine the zeros in your salary.



Those who have got enormously high packages have earned it through hardwork.

It is depend on you. How do you spend your life in IIT. I wiil give you an example of my friend who was in iitd. his department is chemical. But he was too good in other activities. He had great deep knowledge of other branches. Hence he got 40lac per annum. You can't expect the salary packages. If you do nothing in IIT then you will get 6 or less. You can't predict what would your salary package after studying from IIT.
